A few words from artist Cheryl Dahn...
Drawing has always been a part of my life since a very young age. I always new it would be what I would do in the future as part of my career. I also have loved animals since I can remember and I treasure the memories of growing up with several of them thanks to my mom and dad. Combining my passion for both allows me to draw from my heart whether it is my own pet, my family’s pet, my neighbor’s, or someone else’s pet. My dog Codie is only eight years old but living beyond her prognosis of bone cancer since the summer of 2006. She had her leg removed and is getting along on three legs beautifully, enjoying any chance we get to go out for walks. Those walks have taken place in very beautiful landscape scenery that will remind me of our times together. I hope I can help you remember your cherished pet friends, or other places that have a special place in your heart.
